This was an affordable choice for us. Upon arrival we were shown the accommodations 2 mineral spa pools and the outdoor pool which we didn't know they had when booking , so it was a nice surprise to have those available. The rooms also get a cleaning service everyday which again, we didn't know was available to us - The staff are all friendly. If you are not fussy about the facilities then this is a great choice , if you are fussy about the presentation of things then it's not the right one for you. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

While the lodge itself is quite old and a bit shabby in appearance, the room was clean and surprisingly warm throughout the night—even when temperatures dropped below zero. That was a big plus. The towels provided were a bit worn, so I used my own, but for around $90, I got a studio room with a double bed, private bathroom, and kitchen. For that price, you really can’t expect five-star luxury, but it definitely offers good value for a budget stay.

I liked the location of the property, it’s so convenient specially when it’s close to the city centre. I was definitely surprised that the 2 bedroom apartment I got for my family and myself had come fully quipped kitchen, with oven and stove and a full size fridge. It was weird to have the huge window in the kitchen over looking the main road.

The size of the apartment was great as there were two good sized bedrooms; the location was fairly central but close enough to the Rotorua Netball Centre; and there were enough comfortable beds for all of us. Best part was the heated outdoor pool and the two hot geothermal indoor pools.

A little worn out, but as per my scores was a great location, person at front desk great, loved the 2 bedroom unit, shops and food places so close, markets just up the road, spa plus outside pool available and price was absolutely right for whatweI paid for. I'm happy with our stay. 😊
